Idaho Private Ranch Mule Deer Hunt

Our new private ranch hunts are truly a hunters paradise. You will be hunting on thousands of acres of incredible habitat that trophy mule deer call home. We’re talking about 180 inch or better record book bucks that you’ll be going after with archery in September or rifle in the rut. We will only take a maximum of 8 fully guided and outfitted hunts a year and are determined to protect one the greatest hunting resources that we’ve ever seen personally.
Archery tags are over the counter, but we will only be taking 4 hunters every season. We use tree stands and spot and stalk methods between the grain fields where the mule deer feed and the vast canyons that they seek for security.
Private Ranch Mule Deer Hunt Idaho
The rifle hunts will be mostly spot and stalk. During the rut these old sway backed bucks have each gathered there own herds ranging anywhere from 5-20 does. We’ll spend the mornings and evenings glassing from a high vantage point and when the buck of your lifetime is spotted we’ll make the stalk!
During your stay you will be treated like family at the rustic North Star Lodge. All of your meals will be provided. Ask for the availability of upland game hunting if you tag out early. Rifle tags are on a draw system which we will handle personally for you. Applications will be taken throughout the month of May and you’ll know by June if you are coming to Idaho to take the mule deer of a lifetime!

Got a long distance look at this good mule deer buck on 7/20/2015. He’s got a few more weeks to grow and is already approximately 28 inches wide. He is a clean 4×4 and depending on how he finishes out up top will go anywhere from 175 to 185. That’s a darn good mule deer. We’ll be after him in the September archery hunt!
