Halibut and Salmon Fishing in Southeast Alaska

There are many facets to a successful Fishing Alaska Halibut and King Salmon Charters | Southeast Alaska Fishing .  Weather, gear, knowledgeable guide, etc., all  carry their own degree of importance, but if I were to choose the singular most important variable when it comes to booking that spectacular Alaska fishing trip, it would be timing.

Here is where the fisherman has to decide what is most important to them.  Depending on which species you wish to target the optimum times for success can vary.  Making it even more challenging, those preferred dates can change throughout the state.  So for the purpose of this little excerpt, let’s just target Southeast Alaska, the first place I ever set foot in, “The Great Land” and as of most firsts, holds a special place in my heart.
