Our high mountain September archery hunts are really a throw back to the way elk used to be hunted. You’ll stay in a comfortable wall tent camp nestled in the lodgepole pines, use horses to pack out your bull and sit around the campfire and relax when the sun goes down. This time of year the bulls have their cows rounded up and are defending them in a section of pines and aspen all their own. Sneaking on these big guys with your bow will be one of the greatest thrills of your life!
